The PBL has the expertise
and experience in performing many types of in vitro, in situ and
in vivo studies. We have experience in generating pharmaacological,
pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics data and have established numerous
specialty animal and cell models for internal and external use.
Some examples are: (1) regional-specific oral bioavailability, (2)
brain, intestine and liver perfusion, (3) intestinal and hepatic
first pass metabolism & secretion, (4) total body distribution,
(5) cell culture and tissue diffusion studies (6) membrane vesicles,
and (7) toxicological studies. We routinely work with normal and
transgenic mice, pigs, rats, rabbits, and dogs and numerous cell
culture models (Caco-2, MDCK, HeLa, MT2, etc.) and offer bioanalytical
testing using a variety of state-of-the-art methods...
